Day Two Word Counts
Tony Robbins talks about resources. People talk about not having the right people, or if I only had more time, or if it wasn't so cold outside. These are all resources and what he says is, if someone wants to, they will find the resources and nothing will stop them, especially when you turn a should into a must. So if you're someone that must finish NaNo or have to finish NaNo because you know in your heart you can get to 50K even though there are voices out there, including your own (I know, I have one) that say you'll never make it. But if you defy those voices and continue and find the resources that will help you achieve your goal. Not enough time? What about creating some time for yourself? Is there a way you postpone that great Netflix series for next month? Not enough people to cheer you on, there's tonnes in the NaNo forums. Each region has a community that will support you all the way to the finish line! Too cold outside, bundle yourself in a blanket and get out there! Where? To write-ins of course! Lots of the communities in your area should have them and if they don't, host a write-in yourself. Just say I'm at so and so place, writing, come join me. If you build it, they will come!
