Roll Your Own Story (with pictures!)

Feb 17, 2014 00:57

I really like the Roll Your Own stories we’ve done in the past… I also happen to really like stock photography ( as I’ve mentioned before) so I thought it might be fun to combine the two.

The first thing you need to know is that clicking on any of these thumbnails will take you to a full-sized version of the photo. Because it’s a computer program (WordPress) making the thumbnails they may not give a super accurate idea of what the image is until you look at the big version. So be sure and do that

Roll Your Own Story is super simple. You get out a six-sided dice (or head over to Random.org) and roll it once for each category. The number you get will match up with an option under that category. When you’re done you put all those elements together and make a story or poem out of them. If you participate in this prompt I’d love for you to leave a comment and tell me what your results were

In order to keep your friends pages loading without too much strain, I’m only using photos for the first category. You’re welcome

  1. The roaring 20s

Some of those time periods will be super challenging to match to some of those photos, but that’s when it gets fun, right?
