This is the official sign-up post. You can always change your goal between now and the start.

I haven't added any words or updated the plot to one of my novels in a while but it's been on my mind a lot the last month.

During April I will update the plot (there are two events to happen) in the tracking software and add another 10k words.

Gosh... I think I should definitely do this. I know what I want to do but I'm not sure how I should best phrase my goal to be most motivating. For once, I don't want to worry too hard about wordcount; I want to get a story sorted out that I've been working on for two years and just last week figured out how it ends. But being able to have a concrete goal like wordcount lets me say "okay, I've done what I need to for today."

So I guess I'll do it twofold: First, I want to finish NecRomance. Second, I want it to come out with 35-40k words (I have 12k already, so that'll be a challenge without being, like, a NaNo).

Your goals are going to move it forward and that's good!

I just started a new job (yesterday!) and because of that I'm tired and lazy. I wanted to write every day nevertheless but at the moment I'm afraid I'll be too sleepy or too lazy to do it so I'm thinking of joining Writo de Mayo. It would be my first time :)

Even you don't think you could write every day you could shoot for 3 or 4 days a week. Everyone needs time to recharge their batteries.

Hey there,
I'm here! And I'm awake (for now) so I'm setting my goal "to write every day. It's not important how many words I write but that I write"

Thank you for reminding me of this!

I am going to do this. My goal is to complete all my character profiles(there are at least 8 to do) and write my outline for my November novel. I figure if I have a good outline then I can just follow it in November when my plot bunnies run away.

That's such a good goal. I usually spend October trying to prep and it doesn't always work.
