April is National Poetry Month. For this week's exercise we'll work on acrostic poems. These should be easy to do since we've seen this format since we were little kids. The acrostic poem is a form where the first letter, syllable or word of each verse or paragraph spells out something else. I'll provide you with a word to get you started but feel free to use any word you wish!
The word is:
N
A
N
O
W
R
I
M
O
I've included my own acrostic poem for you which took all of five to ten minutes to do. :)

Now the time has come to write
Anything and everything that comes to mind.
No such thing as writer's block for me.
Oh, will I make my word count today?
Woe is me! I worked too many hours and wrote too little.
Reduced to blurry eyes from typing so late into the night
I can barely see what I write!
My month is going by so fast.
Oh where did I leave that extra caffeine?
