eeeeeee! I have an overwhelming desire to knit this even though I already have too many things on the go, and more planned that are time dependent. I think it's the fact that even though it would take exactly one billion balls of wool, they're each only 1.86, so it's not an EXPENSIVE knit at all, oh no. And I could do it in forest green, and it would be so preeetty...OK, STOP THIS NONSENSE.

I have other things to finish first.

Do you think it's a stage of a craft project? That "yearning to start something new" stage, which happens only at a certain point in the process? The silk shawl is looking lovely. So now I'm going to forsake it while I go on holiday to Wales, taking only Stu's jumper, my measuring tape, the sleeves which need frogging and re-knitting, the needles, and the red wool for stripy sleeves which needs to be incorporated. Stu will be accompanying me, as substitute boyfriend, and fine holiday companion, and he will (hopefully) have his FLASH!(ahaaaah) jumper at the end of it. Then I can CROSS it off my list, and maybe then start all manner of silly new craft projects.

So, yes, Stu and I are off to say in a cabin in mid-Wales for a week. Don't do anything I wouldn't!
