I can haz halp nao?
Would anyone mind proofing some css/html for me, and telling me where I'm being an idiot?
I am re-doing the whole of WVI's website (as it looks very old fashioned and static to me), but the world has moved on lots since I last did web design. I get the page looking relatively lovely on my small screen in firefox, and then check it out on my colleagues' pcs. On pc one (medium screen, IE most recent version) it looks ok, not perfect, but ok, on pc two (hyuge screen, IE ditto) it looks terrible, and on my own screen with an old version of explorer it looks even more terrible.
All I want is the moon on a string and a pony and a hot fudge sundae a simple clean two column + header and footer design, using a background image. I know about the free templates available, but none of them exactly float my boat, plus I don't want to look identikit. I have learnt lots from those sites, and the css checks out on the w3.org validator...
