So I'm tired a lot, like, a real real tired. And all the math, dernit, don' help. Quatsch! (which, if translated properly, means flubdub)
But, on days like today, I punctuate long bouts of gawking at rocks (geology) with long bouts of working mathematical computations, which are then punctuated again with intermittent periods of sweet exercisical release. In the mean time I'm trying to devise fun mnemonics to use so that I can remember all my math and German rules... I'm utilizing such sage memory devices as "Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally" which, if you speak math, lets you know that, in the unlikely event that you are confronted by an emergency unsolved algebraic equation, you must begin the problem by solving in Parentheses first, then do the Exponents etc etc. The unfortunate part, recently, for me, was that I used this saying to help me remember the formula for solving during a test, but I could have sworn I was excusing my Dear Aunt Daisy... (who's the retard now, Sally?) and for the life of me, I couldn't figure out what D then stood for. The thing is, with math? None of it makes sense to me at all... so it didn't really occur to me that dividing again was gonna be an issue. I just follow the rules.
Things are a bit different with my German mnemonics... to remember my accusative prepositions I created DOGFU! Durch, ohne, gegen, fuer and um. So maybe it's not technically "accurate" because I actually left out wider, pro, bis and entlang, but it's a logical sacrifice, as I'm not willing to give up DOGFU! just to include some stupid prepositions that I don't go out of my way to use anyway. Besides, I sometimes remember them later.
So, what's fueling this big ol' bag o'brains, you ask? Well, MEAT of course! I'm back on my diet, and with fantastic results! Actually, I don't know, because I haven't weighed myself, but I'm as exhausted as ever! That's usually a good sign.

Well, back to work.
