Birthday Run Down
So, It is now April 10. 2 days after my birthday and I'm still recovering from a fun filled weekend.
My birthday weekend started out lovely with a little party here at work on Friday. I got to open presents and Luissa tried to sing me happy birthday, and it was just sweet. Friday night, very low key. Though I did get to spend a little time with Michael, which was nice.
Saturday my mom took me out for a nice Brunch and my dear friend Anthony met up with us and we just ran around and did various things, shopping, got a new cell phone, 3 different Targets...etc. And then that evening I had a fun time with some friends of mine (mike, kevin and anthony... thats right ladies...3 men all to myself)... I even got a super duper balloon hat with an elephant sitting on it. Dinner and Mucho Libations, made for a very fun evening.
My sunday morning hours were spent hung over... oops. I made phone calls, returned calls, and emails and had a late lunch with Anthony. We watched movies (i should say he watched movies and i slept on the couch) Then sunday evening, I hung out with the Ladies+1. quite the opposite of my saturday night ventures... as it was 5 ladies to one handsome stud ;). Tam orchestrated a swell evening (Sandy, Janelle, Kim and Brandon, of course Tam, and myself)...Good times again, we had a fabulous dinner, great conversation, and minimal libations (as i was still in recovery from sat night).
All in all, my birthday was a complete success. I got to hear from some people that I dont get to talk to every day. I was overwhelmed and over joyed with the phone calls, emails, myspace messages, comments, text messages, etc that I recieved, Makes a girl feel loved :)
I did have a few unfortunate things happen on my birthday, and the weekend surrounding it, but that's life.
So thanks again to all of you who made my weekend special, and for celebrating the fact that I was born!!!!!!
