Fun times
Day started early today. Adrienne and Joey at 7:45 a.m. Oh yes. Sang songs on the way to church. Saw lovely church friends. Listened to Ang', Joey, Heidi, Kris, Diane, Danielle and Nicky and others rock worship practice. And cried a bit. Because yes. Issues, you know.
And then... The lovely sermon. I do not like that it is up on the altar now. I do not like it, Sam I Am, I do not like green eggs and ham. Or...something.
And Mary is quite possibly the sweetest woman in all the world. She just loved up on me, and it was just what I needed. :) Yaaay Mary. And Shannon is cute when she's health-conscientious. Hehe.
Then. Went to T.G.I. Friday's with Nicky. Haven't seen the guy in awhile. (It showed. He called me Tonia, lol.) It was cool to hang with him, though. He's SUCH an excited little boy, showing me his CDs and favorite songs. He kept trying to scare me by gunning it through the green lights. I'm like, "No. See...I've ridden with Joey-I-turn-my-headlights-off-and-run around-the-car-in-the-foggy-night and Mighty aka 'The Rapture.' Takes a BIT more to freak me out." Haha. So, we sang songs and he talked about work and Ky (his sis) a bit.
Then we met up with Adrienne, Joey, Katie, Bekah, Heidi, Anne, Mari, Tim and Dan, (I think that was who was there,) at T.G.I's. Had fajitas. The "Last Meal," you know. I made a "noble effort" to finish it all, but much to Joey's delight, I couldn't. So, he did. Yes.
Went home with Joey and Adrienne. Hilarity ensues.
Me (to Joey): You are SUCH a bad liar...
Adrienne: He just lied to me the other day! I asked him to picked me up for church, and he said "No." But then, I'm gullible.
Me: Yeah, you are. That's you.
Joey (in this hilarious unintentionally surfer-type voice while laughing): This one time! At school!
Me (mimicking): At school!
Adrienne: Tara!
Joey: Can I tell my story, please?! No comments from the peanut gallery!
Me: Tell your story...go ahead...
Thus begins his giddy reenactment of how he and a friend managed to convince their entire "sister wing" that Joey had a girlfriend. A lie that they believed for an entire semester. Which is supposed to make me rethink my proclaiming him a bad liar or something. Psh. Haha. He's STILL a bad liar.
Wisdom teeth out tomorrow. Joey's going to come over and "nurse 'Mom' back to health" apparently, which was sweet though I definitely don't hold him to it. ;)
