ya know how like, two entries ago I had like the worst week of my life? This week totally made up for it. We went to NYC last Thursday, and the beginning of the trip was rough, we were all crabby cuz its such an extremly long drive ( 22 hours ) so the first day wasnt very good....but the rest of it was awesome...kinda scary though too. There was a stabbing right on Times Square, which is unusual cuz its tourist area there...and then there were all these gangs out on the street and we walked like right through them, I'm so city stupid I didnt even realize it was a gang untill we got through, Amanda said she saw a few of them with guns...lol I wasnt even looking, I just thought they were hangin out on the street...haha.

pictures...

Anna :o)  shes great, we put that sign in the window and watched the faces of cars who passed us when they looked up and read the sign...yea...pretty entertaining.

boredom fun...  Megan, Polly and SAvy

Our seats were right back by the bathroom, so we posted rule number one of bus bathrooms... cuz WERE the ones who gotta smell it for the rest of the trip.

In St Thomas' Cathedral, I got some other really pretty shots there, but I think this was my favorite.

I cant post my New York picture without a shot of Times Square...

not the best quality shot.....but this is a really up close shot of a Monet painting....I dont remember what one it was....but this part of the painting was actually a bush....I thought it was so amazing to see up close how he paints...its just blobs and swirls of color...so cool.

Lincon Center International Opera House, we saw Le Nozze de Figaro....It was really good but I feel asleep..it was like FOUR HOURS LONG!

Megs..

Cute little Chikadee friend I made in Battery Park :o)

I really loved New York...but I think it was just a little TOO big than what I like... I was a little scared at times, and thers a lot of scary people...I think I still like Chicago better, but it was still awesome.

Anyway, when I finally got back home and recharged my cell...I had a voicemail....sayyinnggg I got an INTERVIEW!!! yayy!!
I'm going to my interview in a couple hours, I REALLY want this job, its at a local ranch / resort type place... they have  guests stay there for a couple weeks or all summer....and If I get this job I'll be on wait staff...doing trail rides, they serve breakfast family style outdoors....so the guests take horses up this hill to the breakfast spot and then I drive up there with the breakfast van and cook them flapjacks...
Thats all I know about the job really, theres a lot more stuff than that, but doesnt that sound AWESOME?
I WANT THIS JOB!!!

and MORE awesome news....I GOT A NEW CAR! well its not really new...but its new to me! and its a heck of a lot better than the pile I'm driving now!  the new one is a burnt orange color 2005 pontiac sunfire *sigh*  were picking it up tonight after my interview.  ITs so pretty ^.^

If anyone could tell me how to put the majority of these behind a cut....it would be greatly appreciated, I know its a lot of pictures, i'm sorry!
