This weekend was so much fun :)
Sat. morning: Went to Aarons baseball game ( tourniment)
The good news: They won the first game!
The bad news: My poor un-exposed-all-winter skin was badly burnt. My cheeks are so hot!
In the afternoon we headed over to Royall for Solo Ensomble, our triple trio got a *1!!! WE are going to STTATTEEE!! YAH! Our show choir is going to state too!! DOUBLE YAH!
Back to see the end of the tourniment, they lost their last game to MY school, ( he goes to a different school than us) I didnt know who to root for, my friend, or my team? lol. He didnt have such a good game, he was getting frustrated :(
Saturday night was FUUUNN!!! Katie and I wanted to see Miss Congeniality 2...but the problem with living where I live, is that the closest cinema is 30 minutes away ( if you speed ) on the interstate. So we had JUST enough time to make it there, except after CORRECT exit into the Dells, we took WRONG turn to the cinema, and ended up accidently turning onto a loop BACK TO THE INTERSATE. So we drove till the next exit which took us to the total opposite end of the Dells and we had no idea where we were. And we were like 30 minutes late for the movie so we skipped it and went out for dinner at Damons. I <3 that place! Expsive, WOAH! But good food, and really fun. Its a sports bar/resturant and they have this fun trivia game to play, we got 6th place. And we ordered a malt cake. oh my GOSH. it was DELICIOUS!
So yea, even though our plans for the movie were ruined, I'm really actually glad that both Katie and I navigate out of our butts. Cuz those wrong turns ended up being really fun. Much more fun than just seeing a movie. We got to get lost and freak out, then talk about the most random things while we were trying to find the resturant we wanted... then play a fun trivia game and talk about more fun things over a basket of shrimp, malt cake, and root beer.
After our outing we met up with Aaron and watched Ladder 49..pretty good but I was so tired I nodded off a little bit, i'm sure it would have been better if I could have paid full attention.
Today was fun, Church this morning was AWESOME...really, really awesome. Everyone was just, on fire!!
AFter church I dug up the garden, I decided to start fresh with my flowers this year since last year I forgot about them and let weeds take over, so I just dug up the whole thing and I'm gonna replant all my flowers next weekend. Then I did my homework outside and then took a nap in the grass...under the sun..(bad idea) I got REALLY burnt, more. I'm stupid.
Then went to Youthgroup...which was also really awesome tonight, a LOT of people showed up today, people we havent seen in maybe a month or two suddenly show up? Awesome :)
After such a fun/great weekend, I came to the conclusion that A) I love Jesus B) I love my friends C) I love my life! These are all things I knew, they just came a little more into focus this weekend.
I also realized.... that D) Aaron, Ben, Stephanie and Faith are graduating this year, and the year is rolling on FAST. Graduation will come before we know it. I'm going to miss them, a LOT a lot a LOOOTOTTTT. So very, very much. They better keep in touch.
