It's a Harry Potter Weekend!
I am so excited about the new Harry Potter movie. Scott and I are going to brave the kiddo crowds and go see it on Saturday evening. Hopefully, since it's an 8:00, there won't be a ton of kids there. Not to mention that this one is a PG-13 and darker than usual, so perhaps the parents will keep the really young ones home.
But I am fully prepared for the younger element.
My cat is being spastic, running back and forth, and slipping on the hardwoods. I'm LOVING watching this, because she's like 12 years old now, so she doesn't do this very often anymore. She was such a playful kitty when she was younger. I remember when I'd get the measuring tape out to measure my body to check to see how many inches I'd lost or gained. (Yeesh, I haven't done that in a long time--I'd rather just not know!) I'd be wrapping it around my waist, and next thing I knew, she'd be jumping up and grabbing it out of my hands with her mouth, and I'd turn around to see her running down the hall with the tape flapping behind her. Then she'd stop in the living room and wrestle with it.
