Politics....hmmm
Okay, I have had my day of protesting... I am a advocate of rights for women...and although I am a registered independent, my political leanings have been democratic for the last quarter of a century and maybe longer. BUT....today I watched something that made me cringe....UTube has a commercial made with bits and pieces of Jack Nicholson movies that is meant to promote Hillary Clinton. I watched it twice because I was sure the first time I must not have seen what I thought I did....Well...I did see what I feared I did. Mr. Nicholson uses lines from different movies to answer questions that are supposed to promote Hillary as a serious candidate. The very ending one says, " There is nothing on this Earth sexier , believe me gentlemen, than a woman you have to salute in the morning.." Is that really supposed to provide credibility to Hillary as a serious candidate. My goodness is that what she thinks we as citizens will be attracted to...looking for? If Jack Nicholson approves that message.. (which he says he does) and if Hillary approves the message..(as she must, since HER people are putting it out) what is she really promoting? Whatever it is...I am not enticed to buy it.
I'm sorry, IF Hillary is the democratic choice...my vote goes to "the Cat".
