[DVD highlights] 8EST disc 4 MC digest: 11/03 Niigata part II

May 18, 2013 17:10

I had this done a long time ago but I was just lazy to take caps.  Anyway, without further ado, here's the second part of the Niigata MC!

According to my DVD, the line-by-line translated part starts around 39:22

They all went out to eat with the entire staff of about 100 people.  Yasu mentions that the staff can drink a lot and the members agree, particularly that all of the nihonshuu disappeared.

Ohkura says that if the camerawork looks shaky, it's because the staff are all hungover today.  The main cameraman shakes for fun and Subaru says, "Well, it can't be helped.  Drink more instead.  It'll be easier that way."
[cut]
Hina: We went out to a delicious izakaya place, but (Ryo) pretty much only ate yakisoba.

Ryo: But I also ate amaebi.
Ohkura: He did!  That's all you ate (he means yakisoba and amaebi).
Ryo: But it was really good.
Ohkura: You've been able to eat a lot more things now.
Ryo: I've been able to eat amaebi for a while, now.  You didn't know?
Ohkura: I didn't know.
Hina: That information never reached us.
Ryo: Really?

[edited out: Ryo gets asked what he can eat now and he names a few high-class sushi fish, so the members suggest other kinds like conger eel and Ryo says that he can, just not if it's raw.  They switch to meat and Ryo says that all he ever eats is chicken; however, the day before, they had nabe.  DVD resumes from this point]

Ryo: Ah, Subaru-kun watched over the nabe for me the whole time.
Ohkura: That's right.
Yasu: That was so nice!
Hina: He watched over everyone's share the whole time.

Subaru: [crowd cheers] Uh… yes.
Hina: And the zosui, too, was really good. (zosui is when they take whatever liquid is remaining from the nabe and try to finish it off by adding things like noodles)
Ryo: Oh, Maru did that.
Hina: Really?
Maru: Yeah.

Yoko: With his dirty hands, right?
Hina: You'll get in trouble for that, Yoko.
[Maru gets moody]
Ohkura: He's really angry.  His face changed just like that.
Hina: Come back to us, Maru.  Remember the zosui.
Maru: Right, Ryo-chan and Shibuyan taught me how to do it.
Ohkura: Maru made it?
Maru: Yeah.
Ohkura: Eh!?  Really?

Maru: What the heck is that?
Yoko: Everyone is going to go to the toilet today.

[everyone laughs and the cameraman purposely shakes the camera to make it look like Maru's going to Hulk out]
Ohkura: Maru, come back to us!
Ryo: You know, I added a bunch of ponzu into Maru's zosui and it was delicious.
Hina: It was good?
Ryo: Yeah.
Yoko: That was the taste of the ponzu, then.
Maru: That's what angers wives the most!  They'll yell, "You don't care about my flavouring!"
[cut but too cute to ignore] Maru says, "Well, it's okay since it was Ryo-chan's birthday."

[next cut]

Hina asks everyone if they saw Hohoemi Date and Yoko says that it would be good if everyone could see rare pairings like "Nishikido x Hina."  The ossans go back to change into their Crouton outfits and when Ryo comes out on stage, he complains that Yoko called him "Nishikido" so Yasu tells him to call him Ryo-chan or Ryo and Yoko wonders why he has to get a scolding from Yasu.  Ryo says, "Bye bye" as Yoko heads to the back.  Yasu says that Yoko will suddenly just address Ryo by his last name only.  As they're getting into formation for Crouton, Yasu gets asked about filming for his movie and Yoko calls out, "Oi, Shota and Tadayoshi, let's do this."

Ohkura says that he didn't think Yoko would scold them this way.

At the end, Ryo, as payback, says, "Yokoyama, hurry up and do this."

[next cut]

Tomato and Lettuce cuteness as Ohkura makes fun of Yoko for not getting the choreo right for ER.  Yoko's excuse is that because Ohkura (and Ryo) are behind him and always grinning at him, he gets nervous and messes up.  Ohkura says that Yoko hasn't danced it properly right from the start but Yoko also blames it on Maru messing up first and that mistake stuck with him.

Yoko says that he already lifted his leg but because the next part was when they're all supposed to lift that leg, since his was already up, he moved his arms over to compensate.

Some more teasing ensues until Yoko gets upset and chases after Ohkura to whack him with a towel.

[cut]

Ohkura says that this time, Ryo noticed Yoko so they both decided to copy Yoko.  Ryo explains that they both saw Yoko doing some crazy thing with his arm, so they decided to mimic it.

Yoko says that he wasn't sure if he had to raise his arm because their choreo for ER is different when they perform on TV, so he raised it anyway but he realized that nobody else did, so he waved the same arm around.  [cut]  Subaru asks Yoko, "What can you do?" and Yoko can only cock his head to the side as if to say, 'Even I don't know' but he ends up saying, "I can make loud noises."  Hina says that skill is important and Ryo suggests that they all copy Yoko from now on, but the other members need Yoko to teach them his moves.

[next cut]
Yasu: It's where Maru does his one-hit gag.  Yokoyama-kun messes up there all the time.
Ohkura: Quit it.
Maru: He's all beat up.
Ohkura: Otherwise he won't come out (for the next bit).

Yasu: But I (of all people) definitely can't say that he messes up (because I do, too).

Ohkura: You can't say that about him.  He's a good guy, though.
Maru: Oh no, oh no.
Yasu: Putting it that way is the worst, isn't it?

Subaru comes out and tells them that Yoko didn't laugh the whole time the younger ones were making fun of him on stage.

Yoko finally comes out and he tells them that now no matter what he does, it's going to be difficult (because they've been mocking him the whole time).

End notes:
HAHAHA, Niigata really is one of the best places they had their MC segments.  It's probably why I decided to do the whole MC for that leg of the tour.  Thanks to everyone who waited patiently.  I have to say, I have the best members because not a single person has sent me a PM or contacted me any other way to pester me about posting!  You all rock!!

As always, DO NOT REPOST and DO NOT HOTLINK IMAGES.
