You ever get that feeling that whatever you choose to say/write, and how you phrase it, is coming out all wrong to the point that people politely (and in a restrained manner)* disagree with you? As if you're being aggravating/annoying/pointless and it would have been better not to have said/written anything in the first place? And that this is happening with several completely separate persons at once, hence you can deduce that the problem lies with you?
If this has happened to you, I'd like to join your club.
*It's hard to express what I mean to say by polite and restrained manner of disagreeing. It's the type of tone that one uses for the slow. When one holds back one's temper because the aggravation isn't malicious or on purpose, yet it's still bothersome nonetheless. I admit that reading that tone in others' writing is a bit presumptuous and entirely subjective. However, it's the feeling I get and that's what this post is about.
