(no subject)
Why do I feel like I'm running a zoo? Between the deaf dog and the snoring cat... ok maybe just the deaf dog. I had to wait five minutes for him to get his head out of the toilet, because he can't hear me say "get your head outta the toilet! You HAVE water!" That and he's taken to yipping after tweaking out. Then I have to wave my arms around so he can see me and stop. Crazy animal. As for the cat, I think I figured out why she'd been getting thin. She's plumping back up now that all access has been cut off for her to get into the living room. It looks like the weight was lost so she could jump the child gate (one time outta five she'd make it. Most of the time she knocked it down trying to make it over)*shakes head* At least our kitten lives at John's grandma's. I don't know what I'd do with a crazy dog-goat cat running around too. She'd probably eat a hole in the gate, then my other cat wouldn't have to worry about jumping it.
Almost a month until the convention. It's looking like the friend who is to go with me, might not be able to go, because her works being stupid. Sure she could call in sick if they make her work, but the con IS at the hotel she works at so don't know how well that'd work. ^_~ I guess I'm just going to have to try and find some way to make new friends and glue myself to them. Unless I find Lief, he might let me hang around with him. (John'll probably be in the game room with his friends) OF course then I'll have to deal with all the girls drooling over my old nieghbore, while I try not to crack up laughing. He knows I still think of him as the little kid playing power rangers on the way home. Ok, so he really isn't that much younger than me, only a year or two, but still. If I'm REALLY lucky his girlfriend will be there, and that means my trouble is taking care of. ^_^ Another old friend who I've tended to get into mayham with. *scratches head* I think we almost knocked each other off the bridge walkway at school. Or at least narrow misses with slugs. Uhm yeah, Val met her. *crosses fingers*
AS for costumes... I got more stuff cut out, and was sewing a bit today. *sigh* I have a lot to work on, and stupid me has found another outfit I want to do. lol. ah well. We'll see. Since I've already spent my last four dollars buying fabric for it... but John can't find out. I want to be able to surprise him somehow that I was able to make another costume he had no clue about! after all, must my junk on the table that I have to make is HIS. lol. So what's another outfit? (More work, that's what) I might be able to do it!
