Carlos knows I'm a third shifter with an odd schedule. Carlos does things like let me know when he's about to turn off the water for my building (rather than assume that everyone is at work). Carlos substitutes do not know this. And then I have to go and say things like ''could you turn my water back on for 5 minutes? I was in the middle of cleaning my nipple piercing.''
And then they look at me like I'm odd.
