A comment on my previous post about the Natural History Museum in Gothenburg, Sweden, reminded me of a remark Humuhumu made about it.
She said it made her think of the natural history museum in Dublin, Ireland. She's not wrong: it is equally overcrowded with taxidermy, wood-and-glass cabinets, dated displays, and peculiar odours. However, it struck me that she's six years old and capable of making that comparison because she's been there (

LJ), and to natural history museums in other European cities.
I don't want to bang on to her about the privilege she enjoys too much, but dang, that's one fortunate child.
