Poll Most Useless London Underground Station

Nearly thirteen years of working and/or living in London have given me a certain familiarity with the Victoria, District and Northern lines. I don’t know the Bakerloo and Central lines very well at all, which is why I’m not quite willing to declare Pimlico the most useless station on the entire network.

It is a pretty ridiculous station, though. No one who lives in the area around Pimlico station uses the Underground. They are all in black cabs or Aston Martins or Mercedes on the street level above. The only people who use Pimlico are tourists, to get to/from the Tate Britain. I took the photo below through the open train doors when a northbound Victoria line train drew to a halt at the station during rush hour. See those crowds of people waiting impatiently to board? No? Yeah, that’s because they’re never, ever there. (The appearance of John Boyega in the wall poster is purely coincidental, I assure you.)
