According to these figures, the biggest TV I can ever get for my living room is a 60" set. Anything bigger would have too big of an angle. The way I have my room set up right now, I'm already sitting fairly close to the set (~8')
I wonder how long would it take for a good 60" 2D LED to drop below $700...
The only way those companies could get people like me to spend money on a new TV is to lower their prices. I don't care about those gimmicky features, 3D included.
