(no subject)
So tomorrow will be my first day of work at Next to Nature. I'm excited! It's quite an easy bus trip, and everyone who works there seems so nice! I told them about the Pacific Science Center job and they're totally okay with it, which is awesome. So tomorrow, I'm working 11-6, Saturday is 12-7, Sunday is 10-5:15, and Monday is 10-6. I've got Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday off. Once the Science Center reaches me, I'll be working something like 9-5:30 there, and however many hours they want me at Next to Nature on my days off. I'm really excited about it!
Another thing I'm terribly pleased about, is that Justin bought me lillies and roses to "celebrate the death of your horrible old job and the birth of your new job(s)!" They're ridiculously gorgeous and I love him so insanely much. He's the sweetest person ever. <3 I didn't even know that I wanted to be with someone who buys me the occasional bouquet of flowers, but now I know that I quite do. He's too perfect!
I managed to get all of my laundry washed yesterday, thank GOD. I was actually running low on socks, and anyone who knows me knows that I have an insane number of socks. There's this woman who lives in our building who seems to spend every single day doing her laundry. Every single time I've gone in there (Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon, Sunday evening, Tuesday morning, sometime in the middle of the week, etc) her rather distinctive laundry basket is there and she's always got a load in the washer or piled up on the dryer. It's like the laundry room is extra clothing storage for her or something and she just keeps washing it to keep up appearances. It's really weird. I wonder if there's ever a day where she just says "no, I'm NOT doing laundry today, dammit!" and then doesn't? I doubt it, but I suppose it's distantly possible.
Well. I should feed myself at some point. Yay job tomorrow! :D
