Wow... what a disaster!!
I had to go out to lunch today because I had been putting off seeing an old coworker, and since I'm flying to LA tomorrow I had to do it today. (She's in town from Texas). On the way back in, I got caught in a downpour. Ten steps later and I'm COMPLETELY soaked - like a drowned rat soaked. I get back in my car and call my lead to tell him I'm gonna be a while. I drive to Wal-Mart (just down the road) and find a pair of pants and top that will do... sorta. This was a little tough because I had worn black undergarments today and most of the clothes in there were white. I finally found some navy pants that turn out to be too short, so I rolled them up to pretend that they're capris. They don't look too bad and the whole outfit cost me $17... so could have been much worse. Well, I get back to my car and make it back to work. I find out the visitor's code so I don't have to walk as far and start walking in with my new umbrella. The rain is so hard and sideways that the entire back half of me gets soaked AGAIN!!!
I think the universe is telling me to go home! LOL!!
