here we go...
okay, i have finally gotten bored enough to get one of these things. i also figured that it's only right that i have a journal because i stalk everyone elses, so it's only fair that they have a chance to stalk me too. anyway, summer has been pretty awesome so far. i've been on two vacations: one to arizona and the other to lake george, and they were both very relaxing. spending a week in AZ with therese and catching up on 6 months with her was more fun than i could have imagined. we also got to babysit her 15 month old cousin which was a great learning experience. i learned that i will not be having kids for about 10 more years and i got to apply a lot of what i learned in dr. bob's languagae develpoment class to this kid. (p.s. smash and kristi- this guy is not as retarded as he seems sometimes) since liam (her cousin) is 15 months, now is right around the time he should be saying his first words and taking his first steps. the only thing with this poor kid is, he was adopted from russia when he was 9 months old so he is behind in both of these things, but his progression of these skills are the same as they would be if he was about 10 or 11 months old.

in conclusion, arizona was awesome and i can't wait until next summer when we go again. everything else has been pretty boring. i've been working about 40 hours a week, which means good money but really no life. by the time i get home i just want to pass out and now to add insult to injury on tuesdays, wednesdays, and thursdays i am taking a 3 and a half hour spanish 102 class at rockland community college after working a 9-5 shift at nautica. july=suck. oh, and did i mention that twice a week i have to tutor the 7 y/o boy next door in reading? that's okay though, they pay me 20 dollars an hour. anyway, hopefully the madness will make it go by that much faster. august will be awesome because aug 10 is john mayer/maroon5 with smash and white, the week after that is another trip to lake george, and at the end of the week after that is geneseo. i never thought i would say this, but i think i can make it till then.
