best break ever

winter break 2k4-2k5 has definitely lived up to it's potential. i can't remember the last time i have been this relaxed. unfortunately, relaxed=broke, but i guess it is a small price to pay (so to speak). anyway, i won't go into too much detail, but i worked on the 22nd and 23rd, and then had an amazing christmas eve and christmas day. as far as presents were concerned, i got everything i wanted and as far as i know, everyone enjoyed the gifts that i got for them. on christmas night, my cousin trish came over and stayed through the 29th. we did nothing but a lot of playing games, and watching movies that we got for christmas. we also went to the movies 2 nights in a row; the first night to see the aviator (very interesting), and the next night to see the phantom of the opera (AMAZING). it is now my goal to see phantom on broadway before the summer. on the 29th we went down to the city to pick up tina and do a little bit of sight-seeing (we basically ran by the tree in rockafeller center, as well as st. patrick's cathedral because my mother is crazy). after that, we came home and watched mean girls and went to bed. the next morning, tina and i left for webster, and when we got up there, we found out that our plans for the party had fallen through. that night, it sounded like we would go to syracuse, but then the morning of new years eve we found out that we could go to mark's house in geneseo. the party was a lot of fun; it can definitely go down as one of my favorite new years. the morning of new years day lauren and i went back to her house and slept and watched the O.C. ALL DAY. let me say, best show EVER. i looove it. i watched 16 episodes in about 4 days, and i can't wait to get back to geneseo to watch the rest of the first season. the next morning, lauren and i came home (and if you really want, you can read her journal for the details). it was sooo nice to have her here for a few days. i really wanted to make some sort of connection between school and home, and that definitely did it for me. RENT was amazing and drew lachey is sooo cute (P.S. thank you to the laurens for seeing it again so i could see it for the first time; it was such a good show and i really appreciated it). the only low-light of our trip to the city was the edward norton look alike behind us INline for wicked. he was the most obnoxius boy ever, and i was glad that he did not get tickets either (and i guess another possible low-light could be lauren falling and gashing her knees open when running to save a spot for me... but i guess that depends on who you ask.

this morning the emily, lisa, and lauren left, which was sad, but at least tara had a snow day, so i got to spend time with just her. well i am tired of typing now, so i am going to go read. laterrr...
