Is what would have happened if I were the judge presiding over the lawsuit filed by Emerson against NBC.
In the first episode of Heroes - Genesis - Claire places her hand down a garbage disposal unit built into the kitchen sink to retrieve her ring. This unit works by crushing and shredding solid kitchen waste.
Please keep in mind those two words - crushing and shredding.
Now this is the basis of Emerson's lawsuit:
[The scene] casts the disposer in an unsavory light, irreparably tarnishing the product [by suggesting serious injuries will result] in the event consumers were to accidentally insert their hand into one.
Are they serious? So what they're implying is if consumers were to accientally (or intentionally) insert their hand into a disposer they would not be injured?
You have got to be kidding.
I want to know the artist that did all those paintings in the Genesis episode, they're gorgeous.
"Super Hiro!"
