Smoke
Last night's setting sun glowed a deep red. It looked swollen and shimmered slightly in the smoky sky. I could smell smoke drifting in from fires ravaging eastern Victoria. The smell was everywhere, it was like everyone decided to have a barbeque at the same time but nothing was cooking.
Checked out the news today and came across the image below. It's a satellite image of the areas covered by smoke from the fires and you can see it's almost reached Tasmania (the smoke that is).
Hope the weather turns favourable, else the burning may continue into the new year.
