First Entry
Well, I have this account so long ago just because there was someone uploading episodes of an anime called Prince Of Tennis. But even doing this account I didn't download the episodes at all. I this was in 2006 or 2007, don't remember in truth. Despite this detail this year I found a new usage for this account: now I can totally follow the news in my first fandom, NEWS.
Well, I was presented to NEWS' songs trough Yamapi's dramas. This year I started to really, really enjoy a lot more watching dramas than animes or mangas. And Yamapi was one of the actors that made me fell for and then, I just started to watch all the dramas he was in. As I was getting more curious about him I read his page in Wikipedia and so, discovered he was in a group. After that I saw some of their PVs and enjoyed a lot some songs, like, Summertime (though I watched just to see Yamapi, but I was always get confused to who he was, since he was with a different hairstyle I've never seen. But I definitely remember the guy in blue sweater, Shige, he had a different hairstyle than everybody and a really beautiful and bright smile. I was really impressed by him. Oh, there was also Ryo, but I already knew who he was since I watched some of his dramas. Although I was really surprised that he was in a group, since I always imagined him as an actor not as a singer and dancer). I also watched Happy Birthday and it's such a cute song that I fell in love with it. It's still one of my favorite songs from NEWS. Oh, I watched Weeek too, but still now I don't like much that song, it's just an OK song, although they love it. I definitely think they have a lot better songs than Weeek.
Newshfan was my savior, since she was the first user here that I download a lot of NEWS as guests in variety shows, Shounen Clubs, DVD concerts, etc. Definitely doing it helped me to fall more and more in love with them lol
After learning so much and listening to all of their songs I started to take interest in other Johnny's groups. KAT-TUN I've already listened since I have a friend who adored them. Nowadays she doesn't listen to them so much like before and she couldn't convince me to like them neither haha Since I wasn't so open minded towards boy bands like nowadays. Now it's my time to convince of like NEWS like I adore. Well, I still don't like much KAT-TUN as persons, but I enjoy a lot their songs. It's pretty distinct from the rest of the other groups.
Arashi is one that I'm starting to be curious. I don't know but they have a charisma for those non-Johnny's fans that it's hard to not, at least, sympathize with them. I feel the same towards Kanjani8 (specially because I have the feelings that they don't care at all about failing and looking uncool. It shows that they aren't perfect, i really praise that). I've knew MatsuJun because of Hanadan's drama. I was impressed by his acting skills. Same goes for Nino.
There's also V6 and SMAP. I was impressed by their performances in Music Station's christmas special. It's so clear when you see them singing and dancing that they win against other groups just because of their experiences in performances. I thought they are really awesome! Although they have a lot of albums and singles which doesn't motivate me to listen at all, because I have no idea where to begin haha.
Ok, I'm just babbling and I still have to learn how to use all the features in Live Journal, but after knowing NEWS they opened my world to J-pop music. That's something I wouldn't expect at all, since I've always liked J-rock and would never open my mind towards J-pop. There were artists I would never take interest and even criticized a lot, but now I enjoy a little. Like Koda Kumi, I used to hate her just because I thought she was a total show off, but after watching some of her interviews I started to see she has a lot of charisma and it's so hard to at least like a little her personality. She's a nice speaker.
Well, better stop here. I have no idea what to post here, I'd like to help the fandoms but I don't understand Japanese at all. So maybe I'll just post the impressions I have towards stuff I watch and listen.
