My manifesto..for today at least. :-)
First -- I love Supernatural. I don't think it's healthy to enjoy something this much. It's like..obsessive. Maybe I could just call it really highly focused? Does that sound better? It's just -- there's so much there. So many things that I've always enjoyed in the storyline and I really enjoy the characters as well. And not in the "Oh wow he's so cute/sexy/want to have his babies" way either. I really *like* these characters in a "Wow, that was intense how is this going to affect them/how is this going to make things different/ what are they going to do now" sort of way. Weird.
Second -- Rush Limbaugh is a big fat yucky drug addicted jerk. Just sayin'. {{Michael J. Fox}} Stupid people. Stem cell research has far reaching implications and importance for everyone. Including me. It's not just Parkinson's Disease or cancer or Multiple Sclerosis or spinal injuries -- it's diabetes and blindness and kidney disease and .. ARGH. It makes me so angry!
Third -- That's a very racist add they're running in Tennessee about Harold Ford. I like Harold Ford. If I lived in Tennessee, I would vote for Harold Ford. If any of you live in Tennessee, providing anybody ever finds this entry, please vote for Harold Ford.
Fourth - How many times have we heard "Stay the course" in the past few years??? Just askin'.
Fifth - I want to recommend a book.
Standing Alone in Mecca : An American Woman's Struggle for the Soul of Islam . Good Stuff.
Sixth -- I'm sick again. I hate being sick. I'm an awful sick person. I whine and cringe and complain and mostly I feel awful. I hate feeling awful. Just -- ugh. It's a cold and sore throat and -- oh noes -- tummy trouble. Ugh again.
And now, I'm going to pick somebody else up from school. It's a mom's life -- and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
