I picked the roses. They are looking so nice and healthy now that the rose chafers aren't on them anymore! There were even bees on them!

I ate some monarda flowers. WOW. If you think Honeysuckle has honey, these are clusters of twenty or so honeysuckle type flowers all filled with honey. Where are the bears?

I took the shovel and plastic tray of the dozen 'dead' roses from Canadian Tire down the sedge meadow tipi, as the little marker said they like to be moist. I planted them side by each along the base of the tipi to the right of the old front entrance ( Read more... )
