Ben’s backyard
I’m sitting in Ben’s backyard downstairs. I suppose if it does happen that we one day move here, this is where I will sit six months of the year. I think going for walks from here would be nice. I might even be able to go for a bike rides.
A cardinal has been singing. It’s really lovely too hear it and to see it written down on the BirdNET app.
I guess I never had listened to the sound very intently before. It’s very nice to sit here and observe the birds. There’s a lot of house sparrows at the moment.
I tried to feed the birds and Smiths Falls, but ended up with , sparrows.
When we moved out to where we are now, we were told that there were a lot of birds that came already, so we started feeding them and watching them. I became a bird watcher. I have a book that I filled out many times as I went on trips and traveled, it always came with me. I should carry it again.
I always feel like everything is over. The time for learning bird songs and for , doing interesting things, learning how do I identify masses, there’s a whole gamut of things that I would love to know more about, but I just don’t.
