pictures w Desi, babysitting Maya, Mary did bedtime!

Little 5yr old Desmond crawled in bed with me this morning . He's so sweet. He wanted me to get up and do crafts in the kitchen together. We turned off the regular lights and turned on the kaleidescope ones. He loved that! He and I drew a lot of bees and butterflies. I'm glad I got a photo of it before I drew something and he scratched it out and then wadded up the paper!

I went outside to see Mary. I love that she sleeps in there. It's the guest house. It's perfect! We study the scriptures at the table in there. We came in the house and had some smoothie. She didn't have taste buds like mine. I don't need things to taste good anymore.
2:00pm
We babysat Maya while Mommy went to work.
4:23 pm
Maya, Mary and I went down to the bus together to get Desmond. Maya had a great time playing in the bus shelter. We sat in there while she jumped down holding onto the swinging bar overhead. It's tied up pretty high and is quite secure and difficult to undo to make it lower for her, so I didn't. I sat under the maple tree which is turning red. It's too bad it has died on a lot of the crown.
I wanted to wait on the other ide of the road, but I was afraid Maya would cross the road when the bus was coming if I were over there, even if Mary were with her, Maya could escape from the bus shelter and head across before anyone could catch her.

Desmond was aloof, after having spent the day in the office in school. Sr. K. I ran the bath, but I was in too much pain, so Mary took over on bathtime and bedtime, while I sat and watched Rachael Maddock. She'd even put them to bed by the time she came down! I was so amazed!
I was unable to focus on journalling, so this is written weeks later! Geepers!
