The day so far
I've been in the loft all morning. It's snowing quite hard and steadily. I've been handfeeding the chickadees. A downy woodpecker landed in my hand again! I saw him on a nearby tree and put the seeds in my hand to tempt him. Sure enough!
I've been video chatting with Ginny on FB messenger. I need an easier word, like Skyping or Facetiming.
I did go downstairs once, when I retreived my white android tablet, but it's out of power still.
The snow is still coming down. I'm glad it's not rain. Snow is much nicer. I wonder if Janet got a lot of rain from the storms yesterday. They had tornado warnings, too.
I've been doing some bobbin lace, trying to remember how to make the fan on this torcheon lace. I didn't have to do the torcheon ground along the right side as I just worked the fan instead. I'll have to look that up again. I had to come into our bedroom instead, as my hip started to hurt from hunching over to work on the lace.
The birds are so active at the feeders outside of our room. I should take some photos of it snowing, but I'm too comfortable to get up and get dressed and go out.
I'd love to go play with Desmond, though. But the snow is prohibitive! He's also having his long afternoon nap I assume! I hope he's not missing mommy and daddy too much!
