Chrismtas eve with Daniel
I'm having a wonderful time with Daniel! I've been packing down the driveway and the road where the rainwater will try to dig into it.
We've been attending a campfire in the tipi, and Danie's been shoting arrows on this amazingly gorgeous day! Christmas Eve was never like this!
I've been cooking. I"m making christmas stollen. I'm almost ready to put some of it in the oven. I will need some icing sugar and some lemon juice for the frosting.
I have a carload full of stuf to take to the reuse canter at the dump.
It's amazing that it's in the 60's today! So amazing!
I have the windows open in our bedroom so the wind can blow through and take all the dust with it.
Daniel made coffee without a machine, by steeping it in hot water and then straining it. Who woulda thought! He enjoyed it! Strange how coffee has to be made. Such a strange product it is.
I haven't seen Abe in a few days. Or maybe yes, I did see him yesterday before I went into town ,or somewhere. He didn't come home last night. I'm not sure where he is. I don't want hi to miss Christmas, though!
I'm making ten lloaves of Christmas stollen. I'm going to make cherry cookies when they are done. I'm also cooking a ham with potatoes, now. I took a big side off the ham and am baking that. It was frozen when I started the whole ham, so I'm glad it's going to be just the right amount and not too much!
The sun feel very nice on my face. I'm in my reguar chiar and it's coming in through the window. My moms in a place that's that bright! When I started cooking the christmas stollen, I wanted to phone and tell her, but then knew I could just tell her aloud and she'd hear me, or maybe I could just think it. No, they can't know our thoughts, just what we say.
I don't have any stockings up right now! I have all those bins of christmas stuff and none of it is up yet! The tree doesn't even have balls on it! or tinsel! I'll have to get out those boxes and do it up.
Time to put the stollen in the oven!
