We got up early enough to have time to get ready for church properly. I washed my hair, but had taken those muscle relaxers last night, and was still sleepy.
We stop by to pick up a friend for church, but she wasn't well today. I dropped Mary off over at her congregation, and then went to ours. I got there 10 minutes late. Darn. I had to sit in the whole wall sacrament was being past.
A sister gave a talk for the first time in church. She did a really good job, but was so nervous, I felt badly for her.
I pick Mary up after hers was over, and took her back over to our church. We had a talk on keeping the Sabbath day holy, a combined meeting.
After church was over, we went over to visit with Bob and Maureen, Mary's cousin. They weren't home, but the Adirondack chairs in the backyard, and the sound of the chimes in the wind, and the shade of the gazebo, we're so enticing, we relaxed and spent the afternoon waiting for them to come home.
After a while we figured it was time to go home. I wondered what we do if they drove in while we were leaving, would we stop and visit with them or tell them we've already been there all afternoon and would be back another day!
So on the way home, We saw a sign in front of the church singing gospel singing at six. I checked my watch. 15 minutes! So we parked and went in. We sat in the front, and had a wonderful time singing along.
The sounds wonderful! They were old songs I remember from camp.
What a friend we have in Jesus
There is power in the blood of the lamb
Because he lives
On the sweet by and by.
Tempted and tried
I come to the garden alone
I know whom I have belie ved
It is no secret
When the roll is called up yonder
I didn't really remember the songs, just the tune on some, and a freeze on a few others. We had such a nice time. There was a wonderful singer, who sounded lIke an angel.
Afterwords, I met a girl who has a YouTube channel. She is not far from us. I'm going to go over and make a video for her, to help her get started, to help her increase her views, since I guess I have a lot of them.
Mary made us pumpernickel sandwiches with tomato lettuce and cucumber, with pepper. What an awesome sandwich!
I worked on my journal, trying to update it
