Relaxing in nature today

May 23, 2015 21:56

We got up early today. I checked on my journal and did some changing around of the posting dates so they were in order at last.

We set up the loom before we went outside. We tied the warp onto the front beam cloth.

Mary and I walked down the hill. As we were passing Indigo Bunting Berm, I thought we were seeing one.

We sat in the swing beside Sumac Hill, but with the sun in our eyes, lighting up our incense was about all we were able to accomplish.

We took two of the plastic white chairs, reusing from the reuse center, through Alder Berm near Deer Blind Tepee and the alders; the dead ones broke easily as I plowed through. Mary laughed each time she saw and heard the success I was having! We settled in at the stream, our chairs sinking under our weight. We would have to stand on them to get out of that little spot, as it was only large enough for the two chairs and our legs! We were surrounded by alders.

We studied our scriptures, going smoothly from topic to topic as we'd question something. The birds came near us. A 'black-throated green warbler' bathed in the gently moving water, then dried himself on a branch while I filmed it with Mary's camera! It was a warbler of some sort with a mostly yellow head, black eye lines, two white wing bars and black and yellow in the wings.

Wew ent over to Mira to the farmers market. Mary enjoyed seeing everybody and visiting with them. We went inside and met Chris Chan who was weaving. Afterwards, we went back to the pond.

Mary worked on patching the kayak hole.

Meanwhile, I filled up the trunk of my car with bluebird houses. I picked out ropes for them and drove along the berm and tied them on alders all along the lane way.

I found anest sand wondered whose it was.

I called to Mary from iceberg pond after I had put up the last birdhouse on my loan hammock tree. Mary came over across the boardwalk, the costs we have laid down on Canary meadow.

We had a nice visit. Then we walked around the pond, Upalong the Beaverslide, and deep into the woods.
