Mother's Day with Ben and Tas
Sunday morning
Mary and I went to church. I dropped her off at her congregation, then went to mine where I used my walker to inch around. It was good to be back again. I gave a talk about Mothers' Day, broken flower day.
Hers was over after two hours. A lady from hers went home and changed, then sat with Mary till I got there.
Afterwards, we drove into Ottawa with Willem to Ben & Tas' for Mothers Day. They were so good to us. We visited in their family room for awhile, then they took us out to The Works.
I got a hamburger with avocado on it this time. Mary got the Sexy Burger with Pineapple and Cream Cheese. We had a great time there, too. Afterwards, Tas asked if we'd like desert. Naturally I thought we wouldn't, but they suggested we go to her favourite place, Oh So Good, at the Byward Market. I had chocolate mousse cake. It was amazing. Mary had Pecan cheesecake. Not enough pecans, but good otherwise!
I was still inching around and used my walker. We got home around midnight.
