7:30 am
I lay in bed uploading videos on my ipod and doing facebook, etc., for an hour or so.
8:30 am
I tightened the Swedish Point warp in Lofty Treefort and wove 3 inches, making sure to leave arch of thread before beating. Miracle of miracles, the woven fabric has now become full size on the loom! I learn everything the hard way! No more narrow fabric on a wider warp! The weft is beating down much tighter, making a much nicer hand towel!
I tidied up in the loft, putting things in the proper containers behind the loom and the glider. I also tidied up our room, putting clothes away and such.
11am
Walked with Willem to the bridge. Set up Tripod with zoomy camera to film the stream song. Walked to Observatory Hill and came back for the camera. All that traffic. Darn noises. I bushwhacked through the deep snow in the ditch across to the front entrance to Sedge Meadow Tipi. I got my black soot on my shoulder and new yellow mitt from squeezing in through the narrow opening.
Willem sat in the chair in the sun and dried out his boots and socks. I lay in the open air hammock and rocked myself with my toe on the rope. I took a selfie and made an update video.
I had left the snowshoes at the entrance to Kingfisher Lane, but when we got there, Willem didn't want to go walk through the snow again. So we just retrieved the snowshoes and came back up to the house.
At the house, I realized I didn't have the ipod I'd just made videos on, so drove back down and snowshoed around to the back entrance to Sedge Meadow tipi and looked for my ipod around the hammock. Only a slit in the deep snow showed where it had fallen. I was so glad I found it.
3pm
Willem arranged for us to go HT. We went and had a lovely visit, getting to know them better. It was so nice there in the sunshine!
