Maryjane and I went to the dump
Going to the dump with Maryjane is always a wonderful experience. She has such vision. She found the frame of an overhead fan that surround the motor and decided it would make a wonderful lampshade for the tall bedside lamp in her bedroom. Who woulda thought!
Later she made some amazing liquid cleaner and cleaned it all up, along with the chandelier light fixture. She had found two extra glass covers, one to replace the mismatched one on mine. She has such an amazing eye for detail.
She found some curtains for herself and encouraged me as I found some ice skates and cross country ski boots.
I saw Frank who had a great Christmas with his friends. I saw Cat who had on a driving coat. What an interesting coat it was, too. I had a wool coat like that years ago. It had been my grandmother's I believe. I remember wearing it as I hitchhiked to Miami in 1973. Strange memories.
