My day at a glance
I have had a very busy morning. I vacuumed the Treehouse room of requirement and the rest of the upstairs. I even dusted all the surfaces, made both bed, and took the excess hangers out to the woodshed to hang up on the rod up there.
I sat and wound a bobbin of yarn for the loom, but I don't think it's the right kind. I searched yesterday for the bag of wound shuttle bobbins in the loft, but couldn't find them anywhere. I know I will have to search more deeply. I don't relish the idea of that!
I sorted stuff to go to the dump reuse center. I photographed all the amazing views out the upstairs windows, the chickadee up close, the sunrise, the sun on the tops of the glistening branches of a maple in the way and Beyond.
I uploaded some videos of Willem buying his piano. Then I took both iPods, a little charger and my blue zoomy camera to go for a walk with me. But I put them down somewhere and lost them! I have no idea where they are. The surfaces in the house are pretty clear. Well, upstairs anyway.
I washed two loads of laundry and dried them. I cleared off the kitchen table which is such a improvement. I am trying to keep it clear.
I filled the feeders for the deer, or for the black squirrels, three of which are enjoying their day.
I went to the dump with three black garbage bags of trash and picked up a rocking horse for Desmond. Someone had brought their Christmas lights to the dump and left a rack of them all connected. I asked Linda if it were okay to take the whole shebang. She said it was, so I did!
I searched a bit for my iPods but am at a loss. I'm sitting in the loft tree fort looking over Deer Café Hilltop and wondering what I should do about the lights I've brought home. :)
The squirrels are in quite a mood. I watched one coming down the tree and saw his red tail inside all the fur. I've never seen a squirrel with such a think haired tail. Must be quite cold!
