Uploading problems overnight
Something went wrong with my uploading last night. I was uploading the segments of Ankaret teaching us how to start three types of rush basket bases. It appears that I uploaded the same video five times. Sometimes when I am finding the next video to upload, the check mark moves to the second video in lie and uploads it. Wen I delete it, it is then deleting the first video and not the second which has just been uploaded. But wait, that doesn't account for uploading the same video five times. I don't understand what is going on. Perhaps I have inadvertently uploaded the same one because my ipod stops letting me see what is happening and I assume the uploading has stopped and start it again. That is a likely scenario.
But the check mark does hop over to the video beside the next in line, number one. I have to notice what is happening or it will upload the wrong one. Then when I go to delete the video, it is not showing me the one that just got uploaded, but the first in line. If I delete it, then I have lost the first in line forever.
Now the second which has already been uploaded becomes the first. but the check mark may or may not jump ahead and choose the already uploaded or the proximate one. So I could upload a video a maximum of twice with this error before I delete it. Or I could be uploading every other video and deleting the ones in between before they are uploaded.
No wait, while looking at the first and clicking on it, the check mark may jump to the second, upload the second, delete the never uploaded first. Second becomes first. jump to the third, upload the third, delete the already uploaded second. Jump to the fourth and upload then delete the already uploaded third. Okay, so then the only one that never got uploaded was the first.
This doesn't account for uploading the same video five times. But restarting on the ipod does account for it. uploading problems.
I have 53 videos to upload on that camera. I have been turning off the video as soon as it's not interesting, then turning it back on. I now don't record when the camera is just moving around. I stop and start it where I need to delete things.
Meanwhile my gopro videos are incredibly big, like a gig and a half for a fifteen minute video. I have them uploading with the youtube uploader, queued in on the other window.
The laptop went to sleep overnight, so I had to wake it up. The proximate video is slated to take 1677 minutes. It is now lowering the time at a rate just under a minute per second.
I hope this means they will soon be uploaded. I really took over the internet last night. Willem was quietly pointing out that I should not be monopolizing the entire internet.
