At 9:30 I picked up Ankaret and Pat. We drove, having happy conversation to the border, then down I-81 to Watertown. I got a different phone from Verizon as mine wouldn't charge anymore. I also bought a wrist thing to keep track of how much I walk. Its a good plan.
We took back roads, 12, and came to Lowville where we ate at Lloyd's Lowville Diner. It was a great old fashioned diner! It had great food, too. A lovely atmosphere.
We filmed as we drove and had a great time making videos of small towns and stores, etc.
I forgot my new wrist tow as I was trying to figure out how to update it and turn it on.
We explored Utica and New Hartford NY as Kat wanted to check something out.
We stopped at a super shoe store. I bought a lovely imitation leather bag for my overnight things. It is so nice, so much belter than my temple bag!
We found Ankaret's son's home near Schenectady, where we had an amazing meal Kat and Ankaret and they had prepared for us.
I was able to upload a few videos. We've gone to bed so we can prepare for our day tomorrow.
I am so glad I didn't have a lot to worry about in this trip.
They wanted to pick up Mary and take her with us, but Mary's taking two others. Interesting turn of events!
