The Crap-mobile

Oct 13, 2014 23:04

When I returned from Ottawa, I went over to go thrifting at the reuse center. I found several very nice toys for baby Desmond.

I saw a beaten up camper with FREE written on the side. I asked about it and the owner said he'd bring it right over.

I alerted Willem that I had a wreck coming to the pond. He wasn't opposed. When we got down there, the Crap Mobile was arriving.

We had him park it off to the side of the end of the laneway, into the side of the alder berm at about the beginning of the Triaqua Trail Clothwalk.

It was a disaster sitting there. What have I done! I knew, though that I could paint the outside with black paint so it would fit in with the scenery and just look like a shadow.

We can empty it out and fix it up inside, at our own pace. One day it will be a nice spot for someone to stay by the pond for a holiday or a visit with us.
