I got up and went outside to see the many birds.

I was a bit bummed by the amount of mess we still have to clean up in the lane.

I walked up to the top of the hill, making a video of walking on the gravel,

I gathered some gaillardia seed balls to plant by the pond.

I walked down to the pond, making another gravel crunching video.

I filmed the birds in the tall wildflowers, but they were moving too fast to really zoom in on them.

I showed the electricity cord in the tipi at the corner of the pond and decided to connect it to the Christmas lights. I was successful somewhat, but had to do a lot of bushwhacking to connect all three cords together. It was quite the adventure around the end of the pond and then up the hill and down again. My goodness, that hill is steep.

I finally arranged all the chairs in the tipi, connected the lights that weren't shining and sat down to rest. I zoomed in on the pond and tried to see the bugs and other stuff at the pond. It was quite relaxing after all the work I'd done!

I made a Daily Update vlog about my morning so far.

I fixed the hole in the kayak, using some hardener and filler and some strips of the weaving from the tipi tarp. I don't know if it will work, but I bet it will!

I filmed some more of the pond, then came back up to the house with the bathing suits and towels, which I don't think need to be down there anymore.

I was so pleased to have accomplished the turning on of the tipi lights, as once the ground freezes, it'll be impossible to do this!

I was so amazed I had been able to do all of this without my back hurting!
