Nice swim in the pond
Willem and I went down to swim at the pond. The weather is quite unstable now, chilly nights, warm days. The pond was cold when I dove into it, but as I swam, I detected the top two feet were warm while beneath it was much colder. I guess that's what it was like throughout it a couple of weeks ago.
I miss Maryjane. It was so nice to have her here hanging out with me. I mowed the yard at Jopi Tipi. There are a lot of sedge plants down there. They will make it very bumpy if allowed to flourish. The daylilies I planted at the edges of the swing last autumn drowned during the season, but I think they have revived now. It's not the best of places for them to live! I guess it's the original ground level. The road and the parking lot are built up higher by the pond tailings. LIke that word?
I also miss Alida and Desmond being here. It was quite nice to have her here hanging out with me! They are busy working on their new place.4
