Partial Family reunion

WE had a nice time sitting around outside in the flowers before we went to church. Lily drove with Willem, I boruought my own car and
Aldida and DEsmond came to show the baby off ! It was lovely to have Desmond with us! I love him so much! He eats my nose and my
face. He slobbers all over it! Such a sweetie!
AFter church we all went to over to Tisch's. Erin and Chris and Liam were there. I had some time to play with him a little. He came running up to me when I got there and said that Oma (really twas Tisch).
We had a lovely bbq. We peeled corn, willem and i, and put it in the big cooler and covered it with boiling water. It cooked fabulously! I loved it. it's the first sweet corn we have had this season.
We also had bbq ribs and bbq chicken. She also had vegetarian hamburgers for Willem. She also had lots of fresh veggies and bbq zuccini and potato salad and macaroni salad. It was an amazing meal. So much work had gone into it!
It was nice to get to know Chris and Liam and Erin a bit better. GRaham has lots a lot of weight, too. He stopped eating all the junk he said. He has a slso been working out a lot.
Erin was very entertaining. Everyone loved seeing baby Desmond. I was worrie about little Lia in the pool. It was ice cold in the pool, so nobody went in. Our pond is cool now, fresh, but not cold like their pool! What a shame it is not as warm as the pond! I guess if it were an inground pool it may have been warmer.
I'm so glad we got together. I would like to have an annual family reunion. We will have to plan for it. I think it would be very nice if we had a potluck family reunion with all nine of the kids and all of their families.
