Swimming in the pond in the dark
It was muggy at home. We'd had the AC on in the car for the long drive, so when we got home and sat around, the humidity soaked in.
Willem and I went down to the pond for a swim. The mosquitoes were bad and swarmed overhead while I swam, landing on my face as I did the back crawl. I had to keep dipping into the water to get them away.
The stars began to come out. I wanted to swim until the stars reflected on the pond, but Willem got out first. Darn.
I should have plugged in the power cords so we had the Christmas lights from the tipi to reflect on the pond.
No beaver this time. Perhaps diving in send him away into the tall canary grass to his channel.
It's nice to be home relaxing. I have such a nice husband.
