Cleaning cleaning cleaning!
I went to town for money to pay for the firewood, bought some glue sticks for putting flowers on more hats, got a stirring item for the drill for stirring the glaze when I get around to glazing pottery, three graspers, one for the little Mommy so she can reach the phone when she needs to, one for picking up trash along the roadside and one for by my chair for reaching things that fall down.
I bought a few groceries for Willem and the little Mommy's family and checked out the new dollar store.
I got to stop and hold baby Desmond for awhile! It was so nice to be with he and his mommy!
I came home and watched the firewood get unloaded, then got to work cleaning up the floors. Everything needed vacuuming. Willem went to town to pick up Abe and I cleaned the kitchen and did some laundry and put away the laundry Willem had washed last night.
I was so energetic I took the car to the bottom of the hill and took a grasper and two black garbage bags. I walked along one side of the road in the ditch, picking up all the McDonald's, Tim Hortons and other trash and drink containers. I filled one bag by the time I'd finished one side and was halfway down the other side. I put the full bag on the shoulder, went to the car and got the next bag and walked in the ditch picking up more trash till I met the other bag.
I'd like to do this further up the road another time.
I came back and did some more tidying up. I discovered mice are in the cupboard! Grrrrr. Time for the trap.
