We went to the temple this morning around nine am. We visited iwht Linda a bit before we went.

I offered to help the shift coordinator if needed. She assigned me and another sister to take care of two children, one year old and four years old while they waited to be sealed to their parents.

One sister was waiting for the sister, a brother waited for the husband and the two of us waited for the children. People are so well taken care of in the temple!

A friend came with me to care for the children down in the children's waiting room. It was very nice to be there with them. We dressed them in the lovely white clothes their mother had brought along for them. A little white three piece suit for the one year old boy and a princess like dress for the little girl. When anyone would say how nice she looked, she'd respond with 'I know.' Very cute. They were a spanish family, but they were speaking english to the four year old.

The little boy, Eduardo cried when we were changing him into the white clothes. The friend of the family from church held him most of the time. She was called to go up to the sealing room with the other guests, so I had the children alone. They played with the mineature bowling pins and balls.

He liked to push the stroller around, to wind the baby swing knob and to carry the giant leggo over to the rest to build something. He kept rying to build with them upside down, though.

I was ready when 11:20 came and they were ready for me to bring the children up to the sealing room.

Afterwards, I did Tante Ro's endowment. Willem had been at her baptism and i had let otheres do her other work. I wasn't sure where Willem was. didn't realize he planned on staying in the temple for the whole day. He did two sessions. I did one then went outside to the car. We had to clean out our lockers because the temple is closed for cleaning for two weeks.

I discovered the NOrwegian spruce trees along the edge of the parking lot had dropped cones. Spme had opened, but I gathered up a lot that had not opened yet. I want to try to germinate them and grow the trees! The tamarack trees have come along so well, i think it would be great if we can grow these and plant them, too.

I drove part of the way home. The traffic was heavy past Darlington and by Bowmanville it was quite light. Willem drove for me after that so i could phone and read my messages and faceboo posts offline.
