Measuring windows while the plumbers work
The plumbers are busy busy making this a house with running hot and cold water! They have found another break in the pipe upstairs in the bathroom and have fixed it up.
They are also working on the plumbing for the downstairs bathroom. Meanwhile four deer were visiting the Hilltop Deer Café. I think Wolf is the deer I had named Runt. I don't think there were ever 22 deer now. I am not sure how many there are, but I think that number may be nearly double the actual count.
They finished off one bowl of feed. I think another one spilled.
So Ginny and I have been measuring the windows we brought home yesterday against the walls where we want to put them. They are nowhere near as large as we wanted them. The selection wasn't what I thought it would be, either.
I was trimming bowls earlier when Abe got the idea to do some pottery. So he's been in there working away with a mass of clay, making himself a nice cup. It is quite a good job, too.
We did spend a lot of time in the tipi earlier in the day. It's so wonderful to have the plumbers here!
The snow is coming down pretty hard. I can't see across the valley to the road.
