No deer yet so far
I got up at 7 to feed the deer. I filled the bowls, checked the outdoor camera...125 photos! I sat in my chair at the door till 10, then went upstairs to finish sleeping.
Service master came at 11 to check the dryness in the walls and such. The bedroom and bathroom are bone dry, but the plywood wall in the kitchen is still wet, as well as the floor joist.
I have been in the sunroom reclaiming clay. I'm going to make some of those little bowls Virginia likes so much.
The insurance adjustor lady is coming at 1pm.
I haven't made any juice yet this morning. I'm going to drink up the sweeter stuff that I have. I'm also going to add veggies to my soybean soup. Cabbages sound like a good plan.
Still waiting for the deer to come. I guess they ate a lot of feed last night and are having a good rest today. They doze, always on the alert for danger. They also never sleep in the same spot twice so no wolf will lay in wait for them.
Of course, they could have come while I've been doing pottery. Only the camera will tell me for sure!
The long videos from last night are in a format the computer doesn't recognize. Good grief. Gotta resurrect my old laptop I guess!
